Prostamol Uno

Pharmaceutical name: Sabalis serrulatae extract

Prostamol Uno is a drug influencing prostate gland metabolism. It has antiandrogenic, vasoprotectional and anti-inflammatory action, promotes reduction of prostate gland adenoma symptoms.

Therapeutic actions:
Prostamol Uno is used at functional acraturesis, connected with benign prostate gland hyperplasia. The Serenoa repens fruits extract has anti-inflammatory, antiexudative and antiandrogenic actions. The mechanism of anti-inflammatory and antiexudative actions is caused by inhibition of prostaglandin synthesis that leads to reduction of vessels wall ductance and of gland tissue hypostasis.

What is it used for?:
Treatment of functional acraturesis, caused by benign prostate gland hyperplasia (I and II stages).

Contraindications and cautions:
Hypersensitivity to the medicine components.

Side effects:
Allergic reaction is possible.
Seldom: gaster pain

Currently cases of clinically important drug interaction with Prostamol Uno is not reported.
