Methandrostenolone

Methandrostenolone is oral steroid known under the brand name Dianabol. This steroid was brought to market in the USA by CIBA in the year 1959. Although it has been manufactured for decades, and many new steroids have been invented since Dianabol was first introduced, demand for Dianabol is still very strong. For most steroid users Methandrostenolone becomes their first steroid cycle since it is a very inexpensive compound with side-effects that are easily predictable. Since Methandrostenolone is an oral steroid it is preferred by many people who are not ready to self-administer steroid injections. Even the top level Bodybuilders today continue to use Methandrostenolone during their bulking cycles and off-season maintenance.

New steroid users will sometimes use Methandrostenolone alone as a first try into steroids, but the muscle gained is quickly lost since these are mostly from water retention. Experienced bodybuilders use Methandrostenolone in conjunction with other oil steroids during bulking cycles. Methandrostenolone is used to boost muscle gains quickly during the first four weeks of an injectable and oral steroid stack. When used in the common dose range of 30mg to 50mg per day, any user can see an increase of weight by as much as 15lbs. Once Methandrostenolone use is discontinued around week four, the injectable steroids begin to take effect and continue to solidify gains.

Enzymes in the male body will turn Methandrostenolone into a strong estrogen hormone that will cause many problems. Water retention, acne and breast tissue growth are the three of the most prevalent problems with Methandrostenolone use. If estrogen is unchecked, the breast growth condition known as Gynecomastia will make the nipples look lumpy, and would require surgery to remove tissue from under the areola and bring the chest back to normal size for a male. These side effects from Dianabol can be treated or even avoided with the use of ancillary medication such as Arimidex, Aromasin and Letrozole.

Males typically use Methandrostenolone in a dosage range of 25-100mgs a day for a period of 4-10wks, and 10mgs a day for bridging or PCT purposes for as long as needed. Methandrostenolone is not a very popular steroid among women bodybuilders due to the fact that it is very prone to causing harsh masculizing side effects.
