Peponen

Pharmaceutical name: Pumpkinseed oil

Peponen is prescribed for reduction of symptoms intensity, characteristic for benign hyperplasia of prostata gland (painful urination, nycturia, etc.), for prevention and in complex treatment of disturbed circulation.

Therapeutic actions:
Peponen represents the natural oil of pumpkin seeds into which structure enter sterol, squalen, eicosanoic acids, vitamin E, coenzyme Q, selenium. Peponen stops dysuric symptoms (urinary discomfort), observed at prostata gland adenoma. It stops a pain syndrome in patients with prostatitis. It promotes increase of potency at men. The medication makes active the immune system of organism. At long taking Peponen has lipid-lowering effect.

What is it used for?:
• Prevention and treatment of I and II stages of benign prostata gland hyperplasia;
• Hyperlipidemia of IIa and IIb types;
• Atherosclerosis prevention;
• Conditions, characterized by heightened vitamin E requirement;
• As a systemic medication at chronic diseases, cachexia in aged persons;
• As a supplementary drug at eczema, hyperkeratinization, pyodermia treatment.

Contraindications and cautions:
Peponen is contraindicated in patients known to be hypersensitive to the medicine.

Side effects:
At taking under indications in recommended dozes side effects are not known.

Interactions:
Drug interaction with Peponen is not described.
