Brand Bimat Eye Drops

Bimat Eye Drops 0.03% is indicated for the reduction of elevated intraocular pressure in petients with open angle glaucoma or ocular hypertension who are intolerant of other intraocular pressure lowering medications or insufficiently responsive to another intraocular pressure lowering medication.

In addition to aiding patients suffering from glaucoma, Bimat Eye Drops can also be useful for those with hypotrichosis of the eyelashes as when applied to eye lashes it can encourage growth and thickening.

Warnings:
Bimat Eye Drops has been reported to cause changes to pigmented tissues. These reports include increased pigmentation and growth of eyelashes and increased pigmentation of the iris and periorbital tissue. These changes may be permanent.

Dosage:
The recommended dosage is one drop in the affected eye(s) once daily in the evening. The dosage of Bimat Eye Drops should not exceed once daily since it has been shown that more frequent administration may decrease the intraocular pressure lowering effect.

Side Effects:
Possible side effects which are normally mild and relatively safe include eye irritation, burning, stinging, redness, dryness, and watering, as well as increased light sensitivity and discolouration of the iris. If any of these side effects persist, worsen, become bothersome, or become worrying, inform your health care provider promptly.

If you suffer any of the following, inform your health care provider immediately.

• Eye pains
• Swollen eyelids
• Red eyelids
