Azee Rediuse is an antibiotic used to treat a wide variety of bacterial infections. The composition of each Azee-100 Rediuse Suspension in each 5 ml contains Azithromycin USP (as dehydrate) that is equivalent to Azithromycin (anhydrous) USP 100 mg, each 5 ml of Azee-200 Rediuse Suspension contains Azithromycin USP (as dehydrate) equivalent to Azithromycin (anhydrous) USP 200mg and each tablet of Azee-100 DT contains Azithromycin Dihydrate equivalent to Azithromycin (anhydrous) USP 100mg.
Azee Rediuse is an antibiotic and it is indicated for the treatment of infection which is caused by a wide variety of bacteria. It stops the further growth of the bacteria in the body, but it is not effective in viral infection like common cold, seasonal flu etc. It is only indicated for the treatment of bacterial infections such as respiratory infections, skin infections, ear infections, and sexually transmitted diseases. It is also indicated for treating mild to moderate infections caused by certain bacteria. It can be used alone or any other medicines to treat certain infections in patients with advanced HIV infection. In addition, it is also indicated to the infections caused by a wide variety of bacteria organisms, including streptococcus pneumoniae, staphylococcus aureus, Mycoplasma pneumoniae, mycobacterium avium, hemophilus influenzae.
Dosage and administration:
This medicine can be taken before or after a meal. The recommended dose for children under 16 years is 10 mg/kg body weight orally, per day for 3 days. Then again after a 10mg/kg body weight oral loading dose on the first day therapy and can be continued at a dose of 5 mg/kg body weight on successive four days.
It is also recommended for other infections caused by bacteria like for malaria, and many more. Do not overdose because overdose may lead to serious problems, including life-threatening event. For better results, it should be taken regularly without missing any doses. If you miss, then take it whenever recall, but if the time is for another dose skip it.
Contraindication:
This medicine is contraindicated in patients having known hypersensitivity to this drug and to ay other ingredients that are used while making this drug. So, before the treatment you should confirm with your doctor. Do not used without any prescriptions.
Side effects:
The possible side effects that caused by this medicine are abdominal pain, abnormal heart beats (arrhythmias), abnormal liver tests, abnormal reaction of the skin, allergic reactions, allergic skin reactions, anxiety and agitation, decrease in the number of platelets or white blood cells in the blood, diarrhea, constipation, indigestion, nausea, vomiting, dizziness, headache, loss in hearing, hypertension, hypersensitivity, liver or kidney disorders, loss of appetite, nervousness, pain in the joints (arthralgia), seizures, sleepiness, thrush infections, tummy pain, weakness or loss of strength and many others. Therefore, if you notice any of these, then contact your doctor immediately. Follow the instruction that is prescribed by your doctor.
Storage:
It should be stored at the room temperature and be sure that the place is far reaching by the children and could not be able to reach.
